How MemorySparx One Can Help You Prepare For a Great Day
This is our final post in the series that dives into each section of MemorySparx One to describe how it can help you record and recall information when you need it the most. You can also read our post on how to make health care visits easier, and how to store important personal details for easy access.
This week we will focus on the My Day section of the app, which can be used as a constant companion for managing your time and making each day more joyful. Here are some of the ways you can use My Day:
Lay out your agenda for the day, which could include tasks, appointments, visitors and events. Being able to refer to that agenda throughout the day can reduce anxiety about what’s next.
You can also add any details to each entry that would help you prepare for it, such as the name of the person who’s driving you, what you plan to wear to the birthday dinner, or a photo of the place you're going.
Use it to write journal entries. While the care journal section of My Health allows you to take notes related to how you are feeling physically, the My Day section can be a place where you record anything special that happened, your ideas and activities from each day. It’s also an excellent place to make note of your preferences for food, music, and daily routines.
Post photos from each day to help you remember something special that happened, capture a candid moment, or have a picture of someone you’re meeting to help you match face to name.
Some people love taking photos of a favorite menu item at a restaurant for ordering the next time, or a favorite meal at home that will put a smile on your face whenever you reflect back on it.
Try adding a positive daily affirmation to your agenda. Positive affirmations can combat negative self talk and boost the spirits.
Some people find that using the same quote each day is a helpful repetition. Others like to write their own positive messages.
Click back through past days to see the details of what you did on a particular day so you can answer questions about it with confidence:
“Hey Mom, what did you do on Friday?”
Click back to Friday: “I did yoga at Luther Village. It was so relaxing!”
